The School is the First to Offer Dance Classes and Music Lessons for All Ages in the Greater Santa Monica and West LA Area

LOS ANGELES, CA June 14, 2010 -- Santa Monica School of Dance and Music today announced they will host their Grand Opening event on June 19^th. The school is the first in Santa Monica to offer both dance classes and music lessons at the same studio.

The Grand Opening event will take place on June 19^th from 9 AM to 2 PM at the studio’s location on 2923 Santa Monica Blvd. Students, parents and all those interested will be able to sign up for classes and browse the many different class offerings for this summer and fall. The school’s friendly staff will be on hand to answer questions and meet prospecting students and families.

“We are excited to bring over 15 years of experience to the Santa Monica area,” said Daniela Somma, School Director. “Our goal is to provide a learning experience that is professional yet still retains the element of fun that is essential to the spirit of dance and music. Our school is the perfect venue for students of all ages and experience levels to learn a new art or improve their talents.”

Santa Monica School of Dance and Music offers a variety of classes for all ages. The school specializes in ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap, preschool dance and ballroom. Each class is limited in size to insure that students receive a personalized experience during each class. Private and individually structured music lessons are available for piano, guitar, bass, violin, voice and song writing.

The Grand Opening is open to the public and anyone with an interest is encouraged to attend. Santa Monica School of Dance and Music offers over 50 summer camps and classes for this summer.
